Thursday Afternoon Update

We've continued to have an amazing week here in Covington. The Lord has really blessed this week with an overwhelming amount of Peace. We are encouraged by how well the students have been engaging with one another and with the worship.

After games this morning, the students listened to two staff members from "Cafe 1040." Cafe 1040 is a non-profit organization committed to preparing North American college students and twenty-somethings for evangelism in the parts of the world that are least evangelized. 1040 represents the 10˚ and 40˚ North latitudes. This window between the two degrees includes countries like India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Afghanistan, Nepal, and China. The 1040 Cafe staff members expressed how awesome it was when students began to voluntarily circle around them in the back of the room and pray over them.

Tonight Tom Fraley will be giving a word on Heaven. Join us over the live-stream to check it out. Worship will be tonight at 8:30pm.

P.S. We are still loading photos to the Facebook page.
P.S.S. The highlight video still did not load last night, and there was not a highlight video from yesterday.

Technical Difficulties

I am so sorry for not posting more. I have been trying to post the highlight video from today ever since 10:00AM. It takes roughly an hour for Blogger to load the video and then will give me an error message. Please do check out the pictures on facebook. And I will continue to try to get the highlight video to you tonight.

Quick Update

Last night Unhindered led worship. They had a mix of their own songs and familiar worship songs. The night was exciting, but very low key. They were able to usher in the presence of the Lord before Tom Fraley gave a good word on holiness and temptation. He expressed the importance of holiness and the value of fleeing temptation. Tom also opened up a time for the counselors to love on the students and to pray for them. We ended the gathering with Mike Smith praying over the students for a release of freedom.

The students began to watch the third Narnia movie, but it had to be cut short so the students could return to their cabins before the storms came in.

Mandate kicked off this morning with a powerful message brought to us from the Winkles family in China. They shared their heart and little bit about their story as they impressed on us the greatness of God and the glory of our salvation.

We have a dance tonight followed by Unhindered and Tom Fraley. Continue to pray for us and for the weather. The weather has not had too much of an impact on the week, but we have had some last minute schedule rearranging due to lightning and rain.

We will be loading more pictures as they come in.

See you tonight on the Live-Stream…
